Bordering with Ribatejo and just over an hour from Lisbon, the Brotas village and Brotherhood Houses (Casas de Romaria) are the place to make a well-deserved rest in a venture that combines traditional architecture with typical furniture of the region, with all comfort that you may want.
The village of Brotas, already very depopulated as a whole, especially in the housing project where it enters the housing, is a rural village, with most of its activities related to agriculture, we were not we in a mainly agricultural region, wooded, with predominance of livestock in extensive regime and some rainfed crops, where there are also some service companies.
We have available six Brotherhood Houses (Casas Confraria) fully equipped and independent, of various types, recovered keeping the original design and decorated with items from a life, and a house that serves as reception and home to support the whole enterprise. We have nineteen beds spread over eleven rooms placed in different houses, all with direct access to the main street of the village. Modern amenities of these homes are air-conditioned and well equipped kitchens. A tasty breakfast is served each morning.
